“one sky” is an instrumental album written, arranged and produced by Marina in collaboration with producer/performer/composers Randy Crafton and Chris Cunningham.

Born of dreams and meditation, each of the ten compositions features a carefully selected palette of string, wind and percussion instruments performed by a diverse group of musicians. Marina also plays keyboards and adds vocal textures on several tracks, including solo piano on “A Way Home.” Subtly hued by musical influences from Eastern Europe (“one sky”) to Ireland (“first star”), the many different colors of the music are reflected in the cover art, a panoramic photograph of a sunset over the Pacific that inspired the album title. The photo was taken by artist/photographer Steven Lowy, who also shot photographs for Marina’s “decembergirl” EP. Unfold the panels of the CD to enjoy the full panorama of art and music!
